Throughout the years I have experimented with myself in trying to find remedies and here is one that works. If problem is severe I would consider one meal in the morning the other at night. But be aware, the problem may swing around so you have to take control over your body and that is done by watching what you eat and do.
RECIPE AGAINST CONSTIPATION
I am writing here of something I have tried on myself and found it works.
FOR ONE PERSON SO CHOOSE YOUR HABIT OF HOW MUCH YOU USUALLY EAT
Use a frying pan. You have cut into small pieces one large onion or more, a carrot, and some garlic. Pour the mixture into the frying pan that has some oil in it. Mix the ingredients in the heated pan and add spices. If you wish, melt a Knorr tablet or similar in a cup of water and pour it into the pan and mix the whole contents and let it simmer for a moment. On top of it put an egg and wait for it till it hardens.
The dish is now ready for serving. Preferable eat it before you go to bed and be prepared for any fast reaction to the toilet. Watch out for any reaction such as diarrhea but realize this is truly a working recipe for life.
