The Ethnic Cleansing nobody wants to talk about and that hardly anyone knows: The Ethnic Cleansing of the American Native Indian
James Fenimore Cooper, author of The Last of the Mohicans: A Narrative of 1787, published in 1826
and his book, The Oak Openings, published in 1848
In his book, The Oak Openings, Cooper presented the view, and which many believed at the time, and the Mormons still believe: The American Indians were Jews and therefore should move back to where they came from. In that way a major Ethnic problem was solved. The Christian White Settlers would take over America as the land was the New Milk And Honey land given to Invaders, Settlers, by God to possess.
The American Native Indians in turn would find a new home in their original land. Problems solved!
In The Oak Openings, Amer acts like Moses, directing Indians back to the Promised Land, Palestine.
